At Christ the King Parish we have a nine-year program from grades 1 through 9 with the completion of Christian Initiation into the Church through the Sacrament of Confirmation in the 9th grade. The catechists come totally from the membership of our parish. Their efforts are coordinated by a part-time paid lay staff under the direction of two Dominican Sisters of Hope, Sr. Annette Roach, OP and Sr. Claire Sinotte, OP as directors of Christian Formation.

Sunday Classes:Grade 2 - 8:30 Mass followed by class until 10:15 Pre-Confirmation (grades 7 & 8) 4:15 to 5:20 Followed by Mass Confirmation - 5:30 to 8 PM Monday: (grades 1,3,4,5,6) 4:00 to 5:15, or 5:30 to 6:45 Thursday: (grades 1,3,4,5,6) 4:15 to 5:30

Bible Stories for Five Year Olds

What: Exciting and wonderful stories of the Bible are offered to children who are five years old. Classes are from 4:15 – 5:30 on Thursdays. Class limit is 12 children. Each lesson has a follow-up activity. In addition children will learn to take out a book and video from our library. Books and videos are returned the following week. Bags will be provided for each child to carry his/her book video, and papers.
Where: Parish Library
When: The schedule of days is the same as Faith Formation on Thursdays.
No fee is required.

REGISTRATION DATES:

Monday, September 13, 5:30 ~ 6:30  and  Thursday, September 16, 5:30 ~ 6:30 in the Parish Hall

Registration is for all those returning in Grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 and all new students.

Returning students in our First Communion, Pre-Confirmation and Confirmation Classes
will receive registration forms in the mail.

All students need their Baptismal Certificate (unless baptized at CTK).
A Fifty dollar family fee is due at this time.
